The Challenge
Netflix Series
For Cem Yılmaz’s CMXXIV stand-up show, a high-precision digital twin of the physical stage set was created based on the production design developed by Runaway.
The entire stage environment was captured using a photogrammetry-based workflow, with approximately 10,000 reference photographs taken across the full set. The data was processed using RealityScan, resulting in a highly detailed 3D reconstruction of the physical stage design.
The heavy reconstruction and processing pipeline was distributed across three workstation systems equipped with AMD Threadripper CPUs and 256 GB RAM, running continuously for two days to complete the full scan and model generation process.
The final asset was imported into Unreal Engine, where it was optimized and aligned to create a precise digital replica of the physical stage environment.
This digital twin was then used as real-time content for LED screens during Cem Yılmaz’s international tour, enabling the physical stage design to be extended seamlessly into a synchronized virtual environment behind the performer.
