
The Challenge
Concert
For The Blaze’s performance at CerModern in Ankara, as part of the October 29 celebrations, we were responsible for the stage and visual show design.
Our approach was to reinterpret The Blaze’s global stage language rather than simply replicate it—preserving its cinematic and emotional tone while adapting it to a new context. The structure of their music, with its rhythmic intensity and layered atmosphere, became the foundation for shaping the visual world on stage.
Visual content was developed in Unreal Engine and built as a real-time, audio-driven interactive system. By analyzing sound data in real time, the visuals responded dynamically to the music, creating a constantly evolving visual language instead of a fixed playback. This allowed the stage to transform fluidly with each moment of the performance.
Our role extended beyond content creation. We were actively involved in stage design, oversaw the installation process, and contributed to technical and production decisions throughout the project. Working closely with the wider production team, we ensured that the visual system was fully integrated into the stage environment and operated in a stable and controlled manner.
The result was a cohesive stage experience where visuals moved in sync with the performance—enhancing the atmosphere without overpowering it, and reinforcing the connection between sound and image.
Equipment
All visual content created for the opening show was assembled and optimized in Unreal Engine to maintain a high cinematic quality.
3D scenes and assets were produced using Cinema 4D, Houdini, and Blender. For rendering and preview processes, high-performance workstations equipped with AMD Threadripper processors and NVIDIA RTX 5090 GPUs were used to ensure speed and visual accuracy.
The final outputs were prepared and delivered in formats optimized for seamless playback during the live event.
